Is it possible to add blog posting capabilities to the static pages

I would like to make blog type posts on all of the pages on my blog site. However, it looks like the home page is the only place I can blog while all other pages must have static information. Is it possible to add blog posting capabilities to all of the pages on my one site? Please let me know.

    Thanks

The blog I need help with is thebohistadiaries.com.

  2. Hi!

You can definitely add your blog posts to other areas of your site outside of just the home page. First, you can use the Display Post shortcode shown here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/display-posts-shortcode/

That will allow you to display your posts virtually anywhere on your site. The list will consistently be updated when you publish a new post that fits the criteria you specify.

Alternatively, you can create category pages using the guide here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/category-pages/

For example, if you had a category on Vacations, you could choose to have that category displayed on a separate page as well. Each time you published something to the Vacation category, it would appear there.

Would either on of those options accomplish what you're looking for?
