Is it possible to change my blog's native RSS feed URL?

  1. I would like to change my WordPress-hosted blog feed URL to one that I just set up in FeedBurner so that I can keep track of how many subscribers I have, etc. I added a feed chicklet for this FeedBurner feed into my sidebar, but the native WordPress feed is still showing up in the address bar (so if anyone adds the blog address to their newsreader, it will automatically detect the native feed, which is not the one I want them to use, obviously). So is there a way I can change this?

    Thanks!

The blog I need help with is philipmarlowe.wordpress.com.

  2. You can't change it. Depending on your theme -- and without a link to your blog it's hard to say for sure -- you can probably hide the icon(s) with the CSS upgrade and appropriate skills.

But in a way, it's a moot point. Anybody with an iota of web savvy can use the icon in their browser bar and it returns the wp feed.
