is there a problem with the crop function for imported images?

  1. The last two posts I've been unable to use the crop function for imported images (edit image, click and drag mouse, click on crop), which I've done for the past 7 months. I've not changed anything, so I'm unsure why it's not working. It's a great function that I miss! Please advise, many thanks.

  2. I am having the same problem. Can someone help us?

  3. Thanks for the report.

katjamintokyo - are you using IE9 when you experience the problem? When you say "imported images" - do you mean any image you upload or are you referring to something else?

provelopassion - could you please let me know what browser and version you're using? If you're not sure, you can go here and copy what it says under Web Browser: http://supportdetails.com/

  4. Hi, yes, I typically use IE9. Yesterday I opened my WordPress account using Google Chrome, and voila, the crop window / function appeared in the appearance / header function and the edit image function. It used to come up all the time with IE9. Stopped about a week ago or so.

  5. Thank you for the reply.

  6. Thanks for reporting this issue with cropping headers in IE9 - we are looking into it and will report back.
