I am in the process of setting up a self-hosted WP blog. I currently have my registered domain connected to my WP.com blog and it is no longer needed here.
I would like to remove it completely as it continues to forward to my WP.com site and it's driving me crazy! Any advice would be appreciated!!!!
The blog I need help with is herbalfixemsandsuch.wordpress.com.
If you’ve registered your domain through WordPress.com and now want it to point to a blog or website hosted elsewhere then you can do this by updating the nameservers. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers
the domain is through godaddy.com
Once you point the name servers away from WordPress.COM your WordPress.COM blog should no longer show up - the site linked to your name goes to a non-WordPress.COM site. If you made the changes less than 72 hours ago the changes might not have migrated to the far corners of the internet
