Is there a way to keep edited posts out of RSS feeds?

    I just imported a bunch of posts from Blogger, and am working on re-formatting them to work with WordPress's layout and archive systems. However, whenever I "update" a post, it pushes to the RSS feed. Is there any way to prevent this? I'm updating posts back to 2009, and I don't want to inundate people's readers with irrelevant posts from three years ago.

    Unfortunately, there's no way around that. Since the post is new to this specific URL, feed readers will see it as new when the edits are published. Further edits won't trigger this in most feed readers.
