I found out how to put a Paypal 'donate' button on my website through your support. Very helpful.
I know WordPress lets me do a donate button because there's the option for for 'email' that just has a link instead of the html code.
Is there any way to use a Paypal shopping cart on my blog? My wife sells prints of her art and wants to do this on her wordpress blog.

There are no ecommerce capabilities for wordpress.com blogs. You can only use a donation button. This is because the ktypes of blogs we can have at wordpress.com are limited and we are not allowed to advertise. Even if it's original art, the shopping cart code will not work here. We have to stick to really very, very basic HTML or the code is stripped out (this is for security here at WP.com, and to encourage ecommerce seekers to find other platforms).
Many artists etc use the email/donation button with satisfaction to sell their works, but if you would prefer more advanced functionality, you'll have to look for hosting elsewhere, I'm afraid.
