Is this normal? "Dashboard" appearing in blog stats

  1. I was just checking the stats of my blog, and I came upon this
    http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/6227/272006snag00007kb.jpg

What does it means? Is somebody else apart from my computer accessing my page configuration, or something?
I've already changed my password in the morning, but the number of visits from "Dashboard" kept rising.
    Any help appreciated

  2. Your blog is the number 3 top blog on WordPress.com today. Plenty of people are accessing it from their own Dashboards and it seems to be showing up in your rerrals as Dashboard. Don't worry. Your account hasn't been hacked. Remember, WP.com does not record your own visits to your site. So had your account been hacked, those visits wouldn't be showing up anyway.

  3. Oh, ok. Thanks :). (Yay, didn't notice I was number 3)

  4. I was actually thinking that it was you yourself clocking through from your own Dashboard but I can't see you yourself doing it that many times.

I'd rather have it as it was before when it showed from who's dashboard it was coming from.

    *shrug*

  5. What about where it shows:
    ---------------------------
    Referrers

People clicked links from these pages to get to your blog.
    Today
    Referrer Views
    Your site 14
    ---------------------------
What does "your site" mean? I don't think that's me because I log into my site more often than that. Thank you!

  6. Um. Don't laugh. But how do we start a topic here? I've been trying to figure out how to start a new thread but I can't. lol

  7. "Dashboard" means somebody was looking at their own dashboard when they saw a link to your blog and clicked on it.

I've had several confused feedbacks about this and some preferred to see which blog's dashboard was the referrer, so I've reverted this.

  8. Andy, thank you. I for one prefer the old style.

Um. Don't laugh. But how do we start a topic here? I've been trying to figure out how to start a new thread but I can't. lol

I'm assuming that you're sitting on the forum's home page, right? If you move down to the bottom of the page, you'll see links to the actual subforums, support and ideas. If you click through those links, you'll see a forum you can fill out to start a new thread.

    Hope this helps,

  9. Thank you!! :)
