The reason I ask this is that I get a white square at the head of the wordpress.com address - via Google Chrome - and I thought this was a protected site? Previously I'm sure that I got a green http:// before the main site. It may be that it's something to do with my computer settings - if so, apologies for putting this on a forum.

The blog I need help with is pondwords.wordpress.com.
Can someone please let me know whether when I'm logged in to add posts etc, WordPress is supposed to be an https site??
