Is WordPress.com really referring me?

    I've read up a bit on referrer spam, but my situation does not fit the mold exactly as far as I can tell. According to my stats I have had 22 views referred by WordPress.com today. That is probably the third highest amount I have ever received from one referrer in a day. However, I'm not exactly celebrating because I do not see how I could possibly be getting hits from simply "Wordpress.com". No, I was not featured on freshly pressed. Am I missing something?

    The blog I need help with is design-vox.com.
