Issues with domain mapping

    I want to map my domain which is http://www.citywinks.es Do I have to do anything special to register it? ( I ask this question because of the .es )

    The domain name needs to be registered not at WordPress.COM ( sounds like you have already registered it) WordPress.COM can't register .es domains - but you can map an .es domain to a blog here

    You will need to have the staff add a zone record before you can map your domain to your blog here.

    I will flag this for the staff to add a zone record for you

    I already did the mapping but it won´t work. Is it due to the zone record? Seems I managed to do the whole process and now I get this message when I check a previous post:

    Not Found

    The requested URL /2012/07/09/el-olivar-de-castillejo-an-oasis-in-madrid/ was not found on this server.

    Apache/2.2.3 (CentOS) Server at citywinks.es Port 80

    Is this normal? Is there anything wrong? Thanks in advance.

    I have manually added a zone record for your domain.

    You should now be able to map it here following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/

    Hi macmanx!

    Thanks for your help but the problem isn´t solved yet.

    I had already completed the "Add domain to blog button" step and "Update Primary Domain button" with http://www.citywinks.es but the blog isn´t working...

    I log on wordpress.com and when I open the latest post I was writing this morning to preview it, it won´t load and the screen remains blank with this http://citywinks.es/?p=1133&preview=true

    Hope we can solve this asap! ; )

    @citywinks: Can you try checking your third–party cookies?

    You mean check cookies from my domain provider? I have just sent them an email to see if they can go through the configuration again. Thanks for your support! : )

    Great! It seems it was the cookies and also I had to deal with the cache... ; )

    ***I continue having problems with the blog. Now I can preview the lastest post I´ve been writing but I´ve tried to publish it and this is the message I get:

    What is happening now?

    Besides, I try to look up my site on google search or firefox, and it simply won´t load at all... This is completely crazy!

    Well, i still get the same error message:

    404Not Found

    nor can I open my blog on any explorer, google or firefox ...

    Can you please try clearing out your cache?
