Issues with Embedding Videos

    Hey all,

    I'm having some trouble embedding videos onto my site. These videos are from CNN.com, which provides embed codes. The videos showed up in the "Visual" editing stage, but as soon as I updated the page, the videos turned back into links. I read in the forums about Vodpod, and the same thing happened. Videos turned into links as soon as I updated. What am I doing wrong here?

    The blog I need help with is danielaltschuler.com.

    We're not allowed to use embed codes, for security reasons, so the code is automatically stripped out. You need to insert the videos as explained here:
    http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/07/03/gigya-shortcode-1-videos/

    If you can't figure it out, paste a sample embed code here (between backticks) and I'll give you the right equivalent.

    CNN videos apparently have some issues, I was trying the gigya shortcode earlier with CNN video, but it wouldn't work. Gigya code otherwise works fine.

    @panaghiotisadam, do you take emails for support issues? I need one particular help with table code.

    a) I inserted a CNN video before posting the above.
    b) No I don't take emails. You can start a thread here or you can post a comment in my blog.

    For some reason, the CNN videos are just coming up as black boxes.

    Am I missing something obvious? I've been fiddling with these videos for awhile now and still no luck.

    Now, I'm having the same issue with Aux Video.
