Lines of code in iTheme2 extend beyond the margins into the sidebar and beyond. Previously I had used Freshy, which would enclose the code in a scrollable area. The code just looks horrendous with iTheme2—is a fix planned for this?

You are using "pre" tags which keep whatever formatting (and line length) the original has.
