    I was thinking about purchasing a wordpress.com hosting service and I was wondering about a few things.

    Would I be able to use wordpress.com with adobe dreamweaver CS4 and upload and design my site from that program?

    Can I use javascripting in my wordpress blog?

    Will I be able to copy and past the css from dreamweaver and apply it in the wordpress pages? (for example left column with a header and footer)

    basically I'm trying to create an informational blog for a service I am providing. I would like to place the whole web site on wordpress.com as opposed to placing hyperlinks on my site that go to wordpress.com

    I am trying to find an inexpensive website search solutions as well as a comment feature for future articles that I publish.

    The blog I need help with is tidewaterfinancialsolutions.wordpress.com.

    1. No. Theme design, and structure are locked down for security reasons.

    2. No same reason.

    3. No, same reason.

    For all of those to work you need to self host your blog with wordpress.org.

    All editing is done online, on wordpress.com, or offline, using LiveWriter or similar tools.

    There is no external WordPress.COM hosting service; WordPress.COM IS a hosting service.

    Thank you guys for your responses... I think I am going to purchase regular web hosting from godaddy.com ... I was just wondering because on go daddy.com they have the option to purchase wordpress blog web hosting...

    Yes, go-daddy will host wordpress.ORG software ... as we keep trying to point out wordpress. COM and wordprress.ORG are not the same.
