I am in the process of switching to a self hosted go daddy version of my blog. With thousands of subscribers, I'm very nervous about losing them. How do I retain those email subscribers during my switch to go daddy?

Your email subscribers only can be transferred by WordPress.com Staff after you set up your WordPress.org install and install and activate the JetPack plugin. You can return to this forum provide both URLs in a forum thread along with your request and they will do the transfer. Do note that followers using the WordPress.com Reader cannot be transferred.
I have switched my domain to go daddy and have hosting there now. I have installed the wordpress software and am having some major issues and my blog is not visible. We are not able to figure out what is going on. Do you have any advice? Is there something I can purchase to make this a little more seamless? The blog I need helps with is modernmrscleaver.com
Ok I have installed wordpress.org and jetpack. My site now shows as an original and brand new page. Can you help me load my old site and users now?
