Hi, I changed to the Kubrick theme about a week ago. I just noticed that when I post fairly large pictures they are squeezed to fit the Kubrick theme format.
Is there any way to make it so that the images are not squeezed or a trick to make it so that the picture is un-squeezed if the mouse hovers over it? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
That's not what I'm seeing. I see the pictures full-size, pushing the sidebar down below all the posts. Alter the size of the pictures to narrower than the column width to change that.
Any way to find out the column width max? Is it possible to alter the column width max so that it adjusts based on what's posted(pictures, etc.)?

when you upload your images, you can click on them and choose 'linked to image', so that if the image is squeezed, people can click on it to enlarge it.

The only way we can alter our themes at wordpress.com is buy purchasing an upgrade and customizing our css. If you are conversant with css this may be the way for you to go. Also kamel has posted a link that will give you some insight as to where the designers are on this issue.
