Larger text on one page only

  1. Hello,
I'm trying to make the words "Web ~ Corporate ~ Journalism ~ Scriptwriting/Speeches ~ Resume Writing" larger on this page http://melanielefebvre.com/writing/ , but not necessarily the entire body text through the whole site. How do I do this on a singular page?

    THANK YOU!!

The blog I need help with is melanielefebvre.com.

  2. Hi there,

If you are into fiddling about with font families, sizes and/or colors on each and every post you make by using the Text editor (HTML editor) then you can change it in the body text in posts and pages - no upgrade is required. But for changing it in Titles and widgets then you need to purchase an upgrade.

These are 3 ways to change fonts on WordPress.com blogs.

    (1) Changing font families, colors and size in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page by coding into the Text ie. HTML editor. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/formatting-text-pt-5/

    (2) Changing font colors in text in posts or pages either post by post or page by page using the #4 icon (Select text color – change the text color) in Row 2 the Visual editor. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#row-2

    (3) Changing all font families, colors and sizes throughout the whole blog by purchasing an annually renewable Custom Design upgrade and using Typekit Fonts with Staff support.

  3. Hello,

Yes, I have the upgraded version and CSS editing capabilities. Is the coding on the site in your answer #1 what I would copy and paste into my CSS editor?

  4. No but you can use the guide at http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/07/11/formatting-text-pt-5/ to change font style, size and/or color in the body text in any post or page.

  5. So I see on the page the code to change the font size:
    <span style="font-size:PERCENTAGE HERE;">TEXT HERE</span>
Where do I put this? In the CSS editor? I'm not sure of the procedure here...

  6. OKAY! I got it. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I put it around the text in the Text Editor, yes.

    THANK YOU for your support.
    Much appreciated.

  7. Sorry I assumed you knew what you were about. Please wait patiently for Staff or another Volunteer who chooses to provide CSS editing help to assist you.

  8. OKAY! I got it. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I put it around the text in the Text Editor, yes.

Oh! Yes and what great news! :)
