When I post an article on my blog, the oldest one stays on the home page while the latest one is underneath it, I've looked through all the options and settings and there doesn't look like there's something to change it, however I've seen a blog with the same theme as me and there's works fine, any help please?
I've had a search but I don't really know what keywords to use.
It sounds as though you made the first post sticky by mistake. Click on 'Edit' and then make sure that the box 'Stick this post to the first page' under 'Publish Status' on the right hand side of the page is unticked.
