Layout Troubles

    Hi,
    I'm new to wordpress. I have a few layout questions.
    1st: I would like to get rid on the second search bar on the left of my blog
    2nd: Whenever I post, the full post doesn't show up, just a teaser with a [...] at the end. How can I configure it so that my blog always shows the full post? Thanks.

    The blog I need help with is lifeofahockeygoalie.wordpress.com.
