Ligthbox like feature

  1. Hi, I just opened a blog on wordpress.com, and I'm struggling to have my images opening in a bigger version in a lightbox kind of way, actually the same way the gallery shortcode is doing, but just as a single image.
I've looked on previous topics on the forum and I found I need to add a "thickbox" class to the link tag: unfortunately in my blog it doesn't work.
Does anybody know how to make it work?

    thank you
    Simone

The blog I need help with is paysagespulsionnels.wordpress.com.

  2. Sorry, isn't this forum supposed to be monitored by WP.com support?
Otherwise I would have posted it to a normal user-forum

  3. This is the WordPress.com peer support forum. Here we Volunteers answer the majority of all questions. If we run into issue we cannot assist with we flag thread for Staff attention.

The thickbox workaround we used to be able to use is an old one and I'm not surprised if it no longer works. See here > http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-get-the-image-url-from-media-upload-in-widget-field-1?replies=2

  4. Here's a link to the old workaround that could be used if we purchased the CSS upgrade http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/popup-box-for-images?replies=11#post-356048

  5. Ok, sorry, I thought this was a support forum monitored by WP.com staff.
So, since I got no answer since 2 days I have to assume a lightbox style display is not supported in WP.com for single images but just for galleries?
