like a post

    how does someone like a post without viewing it?

    I keep receiving notifications that people like my latest post, but their is no recording for their view to it? I know this because I posted it last night and their are no views to it (stats) and I have had 3 likes for it. I'm a bit perplexed.

    Likes and shares numbers are misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can "like" and "share" your posts in several locations such as the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat. Those who have username accounts only but no blog can become followers and click the "like" and/or "share" buttons.     Note: To compel readers to click into my blog to read the full post thereby creating a page view stat, I have set my RSS Feed for posts to “summary” on this page > Settings > Reading

    Is there any option to show on my blog "likes" from facebook?
    My facebook profile is regular one, not a fan page.

    I am getting an unwanted picture on Facebook when someone shares my page. How can I change the thumbnail that appears when the share show up on Facebook? It appears to be using a picture from my home page that I put on the page as a link to a YouTube video.

    Facebook Likes aren't counted in the Likes. If you have a specific Facebook Like button, they are counted there.

    In reference to my question about the unwanted picture, my link is sumnercountystudiotour.com

    The specific problem is that when someone Shares from my Home page, it displays the resulting link on the Facebook page with a picture that is incorrect although the link back to my Home page from FB is correct. On the link in FB It shows one of the 3 pictures from my Home page, none of which are the one I want. Is there any way to specify a picture from my Media library that will show up on FB when the share appears there?
