My facebook likes are not showing up in my total wordpress likes, even though I have completely new people who have liked my facebook page. The likes on wordpress are not moving up. Its about 10 likes behind and I cant seem to refresh it.
The blog I need help with is ukvintagechic.com.
It takes time for any cached data to update. Assuming everyone who clicked a Facebook like button also clicked the WordPress.com like button may not hold true.
Also note that "likes" are bragging stats only ie. they may make you feel good but they aren't page view stats. In fact likes and shares are misleading when you are talking about page view stats. Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can "like" and "share" your posts in several locations such as the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat. Thanks for answering. Yes I realise that not everyone on Facebook will have viewed the WordPress blog, but when I first started the blog and connected to my Facebook page, all the likes on FB transmitted to the blog likes.
Its been well over a week and my likes have not changed on the blog, despite lots of new likes on FB.

For anyone also having this problem, I just solved it. I deleted the Facebook connection under sharing and then rejoined it. It was simple to do and my likes instantly shot up by 10.
I'm hoping I don't have to continually keep doing this though...
You mean to say that clicking a like button on Facebook also results in a like on a WordPress.com blog, even when no one has visited the blog - that's mind boggling!

Yes I have many more likes on the FB page than people who have actually clicked like on the WordPress blog. Its the same for anyone following from Twitter.
If it wasn't for this connection, my likes would look pretty poor on the site. My blog has only been public for a month and only just starting to get visitors independently.
I currently have 61 likes, only 6 of these are from the blog itself, 4 are from twitter and the rest are from Facebook.
Hope this helps folks out, and if anyone comes across a permanent fix for this (without having to delete) please let me know :)
