Were the likes on different posts?

No. They are all on the same post. It is allegedly different people all at the exact same time.

I had this issue also. Three people from France and three from the Netherlands all liked the same post but according to stats, I haven't had that many views. Seemed spammy to me, so I've turned the like feature off for now.
