I've tried inserting all the tags for breaking long title lines, but none of them works. No problem with the text of posts, just the titles. I'm using Daydream.

The titles field does not recognize any html code and simply strips it out. Without purchasing a css upgrade and being experienced enough in css to change this you will not be able to truncate titles.
You can't break titles.
The text there is treated differently to that in a post body and there isn't a way to force a new line.
@Mark
As you know I'm no css expert and it's hard to know what can or cannot be done. Could this be accomplished with css editing or have I mislead the OP?
