   Hello - I'm trying to add line spacing between each photo/text combination, so that each picture is right below the other instead of on the same line.

   I was able to do it the first time I posted this entry, but when I went back later to edit it, it deleted all the spacing and I can't get it back / figure out to how to do a new entry with the correct spacing either.

   How can I add the spacing to make this look like a normal post??

   Hello,
   If the text beside the images does not occupy the same amount of space that the image beside it does then the text wrapping will continue and the images and text that follow will have a staggered appearance. To prevent the staggered effect what you do is insert the following snippet of code into the HTML editor after each image/text pair:
   <br style="clear:both;" />

   I am brand new to this site and managed my 1st blog yesterday. BUT - the LINE
   SPACING ISSUE is a NIGHTMARE - WHY is it so difficult?! Have taken hours
   to find that the shift / enter thing helps change double spacing text to single - but
   when I change and upload - the text on my blog site is a complete mess and bares
   no resemblance to what I type in either Visual OR HTML. Line spacing should
   be easy - yes / no - is it ME?! sandy bean jewish queen

   1. Which blog are your refering to? The one linked to your username has a single blogger created post. Is that the blog in question oir not? If not then please provaide and active link starting with http:// to the blog you need help with.

   2. If you have not read this WordPress Formatting and Spacing please read it now. Blog editors are not wordprocessors and they do not operate in the same way.

   I did notice though - you have to enter the load in all at once under the "HTML" page and cannot toggle back n forth between the two views. It loses the code you entered after you toggle back and forth - have to enter it all at once and the update to view.

   Never usually have a problem with this, and certainly never amend the format menu from paragraph. However, today's post has spacing which is all over the place:(
