line through logo in custom header

  1. We successfully loaded our logo to the header, but there is a grey dotted line showing across the image. The line is NOT in the image file that was loaded. Any ideas on how to remove it? Not that familiar with CSS so don't want to go and play with the code too much before asking someone...

    The blog I need help with is blog.sigma-systems.com.

  2. First off, go back to settings > general and put a site title and site description/tagline into the fields there and then save. Those are needed there for the search engines as they cannot read a title that is in a header/logo image. The following will hide the tagline and site title from view but they will still be visible to the search engines. It also gets rid of the line you were seeing.

    #header #logo .title .desc {
    border: none;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    }

    #header #logo .title a {
    text-indent: -9999px;
    }
