Links in blog posts do not show CSS color change

    I have added the following to the CSS through the upgrade option:

    ~a:link {
    color:#color: #1873a1;
    text-decoration:underline;
    }

    a:focus,a:active,a:hover {
    color:#1873a1;
    text-decoration:underline;
    }~

    My blog post titles and the normal blog links do show the change but the links that are in my posts only show the underline and not the color change. Could someone advise what I am doing incorrectly, thank you very much for any assistance.

    The blog I need help with is reflectionofabuddhistmonk.com.

    I am terribly sorry but I am lost at this point. :)

    It's a spammer and has been reported.

    Oh, thank you timethief, I thought I am way off course here. :)

    Not to worry. thesacredpath will be along to help you with your CSS editing when he can. Just ignore the spammer.

  6. @reflectionofabuddhistmonk, the first bit of code you have above is incorrect as you have pasted it here. In your theme it is:

    a {
    color: #1873A1;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    In the theme you are using, there is also a "visited" color defined for links in the content and the following is the CSS for that, if you should wish to change that color as well.

    .entry-content a:visited {
    color: #333333;
    }

    Thank you kindly, I have made the changes as such:

    a {
    color: #1873A1;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    a:focus,a:active,a:hover {
    color:#1873a1;
    text-decoration:underline;
    }

    .entry-content a:visited {
    color: #333333;
    }

    One thing I notice is the majority of the links still do not change the color of the text. Would that be a setting that I have missed? Thank you again.

  8. Are you wanting a different color on hover and/or a different color for visited links?

  9. For the "visited" color, you would need to change the color code in the code I gave since I left the original color code.

    I apologize for my late response, I had to stay over at work this afternoon. The color changed to the one I wanted for the links once I corrected what you mentioned I had in error. I am wanting all the links to have this color if possible and it looks like that has occurred. Thank you very kindly.

  11. You are welcome.
