I just started a new website using wordpress. I made the first post and there are links to 3rd party vendors I did not put in and I don't want them on my site. What do I do to get rid of them.
Thanks
Milfredo

That's what notawoodpecker suspected as it's becoming very common.
WordPress.com does not use text enhance or text link ads or highlighted text or pop-up ads or links in comments. So far everyone who has reported this has had a browser-add-on or browser extension that causes it. In some cases it was embedded into free games, tool bars and shopping apps. they downloaded from the internet.
Please try logging out, clearing your browser cache and cookies, disabling all browser add-ons and extensions, clearing your browser cache and cookies, and then rebooting and logging in again. View your blog and tell us if you still see advertising or not.
Also note that we require the URL for the blog in question when you post to these WordPress.COM forums, as some days 30% of those who post here are lost and ought to be posting to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ instead.
