   Is there a way to change the way the "categories" pages are styled?

   I would like to have a simple list of the relevant topics under my category pages so people can click on the post they want, and not have to scroll through all relevant posts under that category.

   Ex: someone clicks on the "appetizers" category under my categories section and then they are taken to a page that lists all the appetizers, then they can click on the recipe they would like to read.

   The blog I need help with is grubadubdub.com.

   You could add the posts to custom menus. I do that to list the excerpts of my book directly on the menu.

   Alternatively, you good do as you describe, create a page and manually add the links to the posts in any order you like. Then add the page to the menu.

   If you theme supports custom menus, that is.
