One of my blog readers has an issue with trying to login to their wordpress account. It's saying it's an invalid username or password.
The login she is trying to use works perfectly for another blog http://www.splaton.com but when she goes to comment our my blog and tries to login with those same details it won't work.
This is what she wrote to me:
I've been having issues trying to comment on ABC's of Style as it won't let me log in to WordPress under the XXXXXXX username. It keeps saying "invalid name or password" every time I try. I have no problems logging in via Splat On! at all, just your site. Not sure why since I'm pretty sure I was able to comment there when you first started the blog. I swear I'm not a spammer!
It's no big deal, but I do read the blog at least once a week and would like to be able to comment on some of the posts you lovely ladies put up without having to resort to using another pseudonym or email address.
So I gave it a go myself on a completely random wordpress.com blog. I tried logging in with username/password from two different wordpress accounts and neither of them worked to try and comment on another blog.
Is this a known problem? Are wordpress logins specific to just one blog?
I've been trying to figure it out but I can't come up with an answer or solution at this point.
