Looking to feature humor/satire blogs

    I run the humor/satire/parody blog The Mainland. It has been up since October and gaining popularity. I often sift through the humor tag page and try to read as much as I can from other bloggers and offer comments. I'd like to feature some on my site as a way to help others get more links since it's pretty tough for smart, witty humorists to get featured on Freshly Pressed.

    Basically, I'd like to feature 4 or 5 blogs every week on a special Recommendations page. If interested, reply to this thread or send me a comment on my About page.

    I'm also looking for guest bloggers if anyone is interested.

    The blog I need help with is themainland.net.

    More exposure is always a good thing! I'd volunteer my own blog which falls into the darkly humourous kind of genres... I'd also recommend Pete over at Evolution of Insanity for his profane humour, and blogs like Michael Cargill who is an excellent witty humourist :)

    Hi Rob

    As Anna so very kindly said above, I post humour/satire type stuff. What sort of feature would you be looking to do?

    I wouldn't really be able to be a contributor due to a lack of time, and because my ego is getting huge from Anna saying nice things about me.

    I am profanely humourous, and Anna's and Cargers' blogs are definitely my two favourites!

    I'm not looking for people to guest post per se, though I am not opposed to it. Basically, I want to feature existing posts on a weekly basis as a way to give people links and hopefully a little more exposure. Just want to help out fellow bloggers.

    I'll check out the blogs listed above. Once I get my own posts out of the way for this week, I will start to work on this part over the weekend.

    Thanks. What I intend to is take about 5 or 6 and write up a little blurb about the blog and add a few new ones each week.
