   When I preview a post from within the dashboard the result I get is
   the post displayed on the blog page but without the sidebars. I want to see the sidebars with the post.
   Also when a user on the blog page chooses the read more tag,
   the read more text also is displayed without the sidebar. I want the sidebar.
   I’d like to have them both, the preview and read more tag,
   result in a display of the page with sidebar.
   Can do? I hope.

   Whether a sidebar will appear on a specific type of page is theme specific. With Twenty Eleven, the sidebar does not show on single post pages and there is no way to change that.

   You can see this post by Panos for a list showing where sidebars are shown by theme.
