Lost jetpack stats

    Hi, I lost all my jetpack stats for some reasons. I disabled all the plugin to update other plugins on my site. But it seems this make jetpack disconnected from wordpress.com.

    Once I re enable jetpack, it asks me to reconnect to WP.com again, resulting in lost of all jetpack stats.

    I understand that if I reconnect to WP, it will change my blog ID, thus the data associated with my previous ID is gone, could you perhaps swap it back to my original blog ID to get all the stats back?

    Oh it seems this is a public forum, I guess only WP have permission to swap blog id?

    Hi there,

    I checked, and I don't see the stats currently active on your site. Can you activate it so I can confirm which blog id it's currently using? Also, I noticed that you currently have http://www.duckingtiger.com/ but you also have http://www.duckingtiger.com/blog-page/, and on my end, I see that Jetpack believes that your site is http://www.duckingtiger.com/blog ; can you clarify that a bit for me? Thanks!

    Hey Richard, thanks for your help.
    Jetpack stats is enabled and working on my site as of now. It's weird that you couldn't see them.

    I now see two DuckingTiger stats on my WP.com account the old one and new one! Current stats on my site is the new one (2 days old). Is there a way to consolidate these two perhaps?

    As for my sites url issues here's the breakdown
    http://Www.duckingtiger.com is running on a static page (my theme setting requirement). The real directory for this site on my server is http://www.duckingtiger.com/blog but i dont want to show the ".../blog" on my domain name so I change it in WP setting.

    As for http://www.duckingtiger.com/blog-page is basically my website in a non-static front page mode. I hope this helps, let me know if you need anything else.

    Ok, this should be fixed now. Can you please disconnect and reconnect JetPack, and let me know if it works as expected now?

    Hi Richard, it seems to switch back to the old stat now thanks. However this means I am going to lose the stats (when i was accidentally using the new blog id) from the past several days instead ? Not that it matter since one month worth of stats is better than 3 days worth I guess.

    I could try to merge the stats for you. Has your site structure (permalink structure) changed at all recently?

    The "visitors" number is wonky, though. I can unmerge if you'd like. There's not much else I can do at this point.
