The main reason is that ma.gnolia has openId access. This is a very good reason not to use del.icio.us which want a password with numbers, too!

For the moment, I just use an RSS widget, and one of the ma.gnolia provided RSS feeds.
You can see an example of the 'lite' integration on my blog:

About 1/3rd the way down, the sidebar widget on the right.
That is the 'lite' RSS feed that ma.gnolia provides. Or rather, what it looks like in WordPress' RSS widget.
If you use Sunburntkamel's social bookmarking system, it has a magnolia button built-in.
