silverbelle763My main 'home' page is reporting an error message. The page is not showing up on my list of pages in my dashboard so there is no way for me to edit it.

This just means that you don't have any published posts. Once you publish a post, the error will go away.
Alternatively, you could assign another page to the front following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/

I wish that was the case but my posts go to a different page. I'll try and assign another page to the main page and see what happens. Thanks!!
