Maintaining two blogs

  1. Hello! Is it possible to maintain two blogs on different blogging platforms with the same content? I have WordPress.com and Blogger blogs. I want to keep both because of availability of features from each platform. I want to take advantage of Blogger's allowing Javascripts and ads/affiliate and WordPress' great design and account integration on widgets.

Is it ok if I post same content to each blogs? Will/Does this make sense? Thanx!

The blog I need help with is www.ourlivingbread.com.

  2. The blog you specified at http://www.ourlivingbread.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.

This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you'll find help at the WordPress.org forums.

If you don't understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.

If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It'll help people to answer your question.

    This is an automated message.

  3. It is possible, but staff have asked if your blog here is just a duplicate of material elsewhere, that it be set to Private. They want only original blogging on WP.com public blogs.

As well, duplicating content will put your blogs in the spam category as far as search engines are concerned. They downgrade BOTH sites in a case like this.

  4. The content is original, my own writing. Thanx for the information, raincoaster.

  5. If it's duplicated, it's not original. Sites that are duplicates and public get suspended.
