Hey everyone,
I'm currently updating my blog after a trial run and while I play around with design and logo/background imposition I want to keep its public accessibility to a minimum. Is this possible? A page of 'Back soon' would be great.

Hi. You can set the blog to "private" if you wish.

But there is no "come back soon" feature as far as I know.
You could temporarily make a static page your front page with a big "Under Maintenance" on it, then set it back to dynamic posts page after you have finished the updating.
This will not stop the search engines sending you traffic though, direct to posts that meet the search criteria.
So it won't restrict access, but it does meet your "back soon" landing page requirement.
