Make free blog private

  1. How do I make my site private? I don't seem to reach the Privacy Settings through my free account.

The blog I need help with is tryggheten.wordpress.com.

  2. Hi,

Look under Settings->Reading, you'll see an option to make your site private only to those you specify.

    Cheers!

  3. Hi,

There is no "Reading" in my Privacy Settings. Here are the alternatives I have:

    – Account
    – Password
    – Public Profile
    – My Apps

    Thanks!

  4. http://en.support.wordpress.com/dashboard/
    dashboard—>settings—>reading

  5. I'll recommend this tutorial as well:

  6. 1tess is correct.

You're seeing your account settings (where it has Account, Password, Public Profile, etc).

To get to your dashboard from the screen you're at, click My Blogs along the top, then Blog Admin for the blog you'd like to make private.

Accounts (e.g. tryggheten) can have multiple blogs (tryggheten.wordpress.com, anotherone.wordpress.com) which is where the settings are in different places.

In your particular case, too, you can book the dashboard directly. The direct link is:

    Cheers!

  7. Thanks guys! This helped med out.

    Cheers!
