Make header photo a link to an external website

  1. Hello,

I'm using the WordPress Twenty Eleven theme for my blog. Is it possible to make the header photo a link to my main website, which isn't hosted at WordPress.com? If so, how do I do this?

    Thank you!

The blog I need help with is dpfmedic.wordpress.com.

  2. At the very top of the list of deceptive linking practices is exactly what you are asking to do. When a visitor clicks into your blog and clicks the header image they expect to be returned to the home page on your blog. They do not expect to be hurled into another website.

You already have this link direct to your website in your menu bar
    Visit the DPF Medic Website.

  3. Thank you for your reply. Since most people will arrive at the blog from the DPF Medic Website, I was thinking it might be more intuitive for them to click on the header to return to the website home page, just like you often click on a company's logo in a website header to return to the website home page. On the other hand, I can see how what I'm proposing might be confusing as the blog grows to multiple pages.
