Hi All
I would like to make my blog fully interactive with posts on various pages which are aimed at different areas of interest.
My question is... How can I make blog posts on the different pages within my blog? The home page would contain a stream of the most recent articles posted on the other four pages.

What your asking can not be done here @WP.com I also recommend reading → Post vs. Page
Actually, it CAN be done, easily, but not with PAGES. WordPress.com is designed to do exactly that.
Use Posts, and categorize those posts appropriately (use as Category name the title you wanted to give to those uber-Pages). Then just put the Category widget in your sidebar and when people click on a category there, automatically a page is generated with ALL the posts in that category.
And if you wish to display those categories as tabs in the header, that can also be done in several themes:

Or you can make custom page tabs as well as category tabs or external link tabs with the new menu editor. → New Custom Menus Feature (and a few others)
