Making a copy of one's own blog

  1. As our company's blogmaster and blog administrator, how does one make an archived copy of one's own existing blog. The President of company is abit concerned about accidental data loss, etc.
If you wish you can email me directly.

The blog I need help with is thirdwavecyclingblog.wordpress.com.

  2. WordPres.com does back-up our blogs. There are several ways we can use as well and the easiest is to periodically export the contents out to your own desktop and then copy them to disc.

The easiest my nor always be the best for the optimum time for creating a backup of any posts is when you are writing it. That way you have a copy even if it gets lost and doesn't make it into the database. You can use a blog editor like windowslivewriter (free), BlogDesk (free) or Ecto (nominally prtced for Macs).
