First post here. Im using twenty eleven theme.
How do i make the layout wider when i choose the content to the left option? Its under appearance < theme options. I figured out how to do it under one column no sidebar.
And one more question,
How do I make a Page tab (on the navigation bar) link like a category menu. I like how its organized but would rather have the page navigation bar function the way as a category menu.

Can you provide the URL of the site you're working on?
Generally to make the layout wider, you would need to use CSS, which is available through the Custom Design upgrade. If you get the upgrade, I'm happy to help with the CSS.
You can add category links to the navigation menu. Just go to Appearance > Menus, and on the left side, find the "Categories" box. Check the boxes next to the categories you want to add to your menu. Here's our support document with more instructions.

Here is the site im working on http://eyerevolt.net23.net/wordpress/ I like the layout size i have for now. But when i choose the column option the content gets smaller. Im hoping there is a way besides upgrading. Im broke if not I would.
