On a fresh install of wordpress on my server, each time I publish a post my entire menu gets deleted and one of my pages disappears. This is the first time I ever saw that. Has anyone encountered something similar, and is there a way to fix this?

If it's a fresh install on your own server, you need to be over at WordPress.ORG for help. Our software is different and we won't be able to help you here.
