Menu Buttons at top of blog

  1. I'm really new at this. Setting up my first blog. I can't figure out how to have more menu tags, or pages (not sure what to call them) across the top of my blog - where it says ABOUT. I would like to add menu's like RECIPES, HOW TO, ect. So that I can store my ideas individually and in separate pages. Does anyone know how to do this? I'm going in circles.
I would really appreciate it ;-)

The blog I need help with is tamargail.wordpress.com.

  2. Normally those tabs are only for the static Pages. But you can use a Custom menu to link to category pages, so just categorize every post that's a recipe as "Recipe" etc.

  3. Thank you for your reply. When I choose some themes it shows more menu tabs at the top. Is this not an actual option though? It didn't show me the option in another theme I chose before but showed on the picture of the theme when I chose it.
