Migrations (from WP.org 2 WP.com)

    Hi there,

    how's going?
    as usual, thanks a lot for your time and pacience.
    I would like to know if anybody already passed from wordpress.org to wordpress.com and, going deeper, if:
    -with this change I cannot use especific themes...
    -adsense banner can works...
    -wordads can be inserted...
    -is it possible to move my domain in a new in WordPress.com, changing the name but saving all contents?

    1) At WP.com you can only use the specific themes on the WordPress.com dashboard. Themes cannot be imported here.

    2) Adsense is not allowed

    3) There are a thousand or so people waiting on approval for the WordAds program, and it's limited to those with a custom domain. There is no guarantee of being accepted.

    4) Yes, easily, using Domain Mapping upgrade for $13 a year.
