Mimbo Pro Carousel Not Working

  1. I've just downloaded Mimbo Pro for my site. I like it...sorta. Trouble is, the category carousel doesn't work. I designate a category for the carousel, and have 8 posts in that category. I've made sure that category isn't also showing in the category summaries on the home page.

But nothing shows up. Now, if I change to a different category, like FET (which only has one post) then it pulls it in, no problem. I thought at first it was because I named the category "carousel," but that didn't seem to make a difference.

    For $80, this is frustrating.

The blog I need help with is findingmytribe.wordpress.com.

  2. Your theme is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer in the Premium Theme Support Forum. There is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard.

Have you set a featured category and the carousel settings provided?

Your theme is a premium theme and read-access to the premium themes forum is now open to all users so you can search to see if your question has been previously asked and answered there. The premium theme forums are at http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/ with separate sections for each theme.

If you are not successful when searching there is a link for the specific Premium Theme support forum for your theme under Appearance -> Themes in your blog’s Dashboard, but do note that the premium theme must be active and you must be signed in as the user who purchased it in order to see it and post to it.

All support documentation for WordPress.com bloggers is at this link http://en.support.wordpress.com The results produced by the searchbox there are from both the support docs and from forum threads.

On the bottom of your Admin page you will find a link to the learn wordpress.com tutorial prepared by Staff. http://learn.wordpress.com

    Best wishes with your blog.
