Minimum premium theme

  1. We bought the Minimum premium theme because we liked the fact it had the main text with a big photo and on the bottom it had 5 pictures on the demo. Come to find out when we accessed the account with the theme that it does not have those 5 photos by default and now we do not know how to configure that on the theme. Do we need a widget or something extra to have the small photos on bottom? Would appreciate help on this.
Thanks in advance. We have been stuggling with this for days! Newbies at WP LOL

The blog I need help with is losplaceresmalinalco.com.

  2. Your theme is a premium theme and we Volunteers answering questions on this forum have no knowledge of how they are designed to operate. Posting to this forum is not likely to be productive. When you purchased your premium theme what came with that purchase was support directly from the theme designer. Please click this link and post to that forum for theme support. 3. I sent a help request to support which was acknowledged but has yet to be answered, which is unusual for WP.

My question was, if Minimum is purchased, do you move off dot com and to another system, or do you pay the $75 and must leave dot com and receive support elsewhere?

It seems from the above dialogue one moves away from dot come every time a premium theme is purchased, regardless of the theme. That should probably be more clear up front. Can anyone confirm?

  4. And that second part repeats itself, sorry, the question is can you stay with dot com or do you automatically have to go somewhere else.....

  5. In the link timethief provided above it says:

Note: Premium Themes are customized for WordPress.com usage only, and cannot be transferred to self-hosted WordPress.org sites.

The premium theme you purchased is used only on wordpress.com
You can purchase other upgrades, including mapping, but it would still be a wp.com blog.

(some of those themes, in different form, may be available for wp.org from the theme designers)

  6. As for the support for using your theme, we volunteers here in these forums don't have access to experiment with premium themes.

We have no experience with how those themes work. Sorry, but if you need help with that, then use the link timethief gave you and be patient.

  7. Hi, edgaucher. Premium themes work like other upgrades on WordPress.com. If you have a blog that you'd like a premium theme for, you can purchase it for that blog — still remaining here on WordPress.com. Support questions related to the Premium theme (setting it up to get the most of it, customizing it, etc.) are handled in the Premium Theme forum directly by the theme creators themselves. If you buy a premium theme designed by WooThemes it'll be someone from the WooThemes crew answering your support question there.

I hope that clears things up!
