Missed schedule

    Missed schedule.
    Over and over again.
    Missed schedule.
    Missed schedule.

    It never ends. Sometimes you reshedule 1min in future. Sometimes it works. Today this one failed 5 times before I gave up.

    Of course it means NOBODY GETS NOTIFIED of the new post.

    This has been here for 3 years now.

    How can you write software that checks a time,and is capable of knowing it is 'Missed schedule', but then DOES NOT TAKE ACTION TO POST IT RIGHT AWAY?

    This happens on ALL my blogs. Randomly.

    What's next, a spellchecker that marks wrong words but doesn't give you a list of correct ones?

    It is shocking that it's not fixable. Here's how to fix it:

  3. Get your devs to search your code for 'Missed schedule'
  4. Remove the line to display 'Missed schedule'
  5. Add code to call the function that sets post to published
