Our site seems to be missing the 'Users' button in the left-hand menu, and also under 'Settings' I cannot find 'Reading'. I want either to change the privacy setting to make it public or invite new users to contribute. Probably some silly mistake on my part ...

Are you logged in under the username account that registered the blog in question and that has Admin status on the blog?

Thanks for your response - appreciated. The person who registered the blogsite invited me to be an 'editor', and I have worked on the site today, creating pages and a first blog, etc. - hence I would have presumed that I would have full editorial rights and be able to see/use these buttons. Maybe only the original person who registered the site can see/use these buttons, but it is frustrating that I cannot - he does not have time to work on the thing right now, whereas I can do so.
