mistylook - where are the widgets

  1. arghh

i am trying mistylook on a blog

it has sidebars (archives, categories, pages, blogroll, meta) that i'd like to remove or rename

but -- there is nothing under widgets except a heading "sidebar1" that is empty

how can i change the sidebars?

    thanks

The blog I need help with is johnlvs2run.wordpress.com.

  2. i meant to say there is nothing "active" under widgets, except for the "sidebar1" box that is empty

  3. thank you timethief... nice page :-)

  4. All widgets are found in the same place on every wordpress.com blog > Appearance > Widgets. All widgets are installed the same way - one at a time by drag and drop.

Drag the widget you want out of the Available widgets box and drop it into the sidebar in the position your want it to be in. Click the top right hand corner and the widget will open so you can configure it. Then click "Save" and "Close". Then do the next widget until you have done them all.

This is the support documentation for all widgets. http://en.support.wordpress.com/topic/widgets-sidebars/ On that page you can click the individual links for widgets you choose to use and get more information about configuration options.

  5. You're welcome. :)
