I just installed the mixfolio theme, but am I missing something here?
I created a post with the notation 'gallery' and added some media (image gallery) and some text. I saved the post, but when i take a look the gallery tab shows nothing and the info tab shows the image thumbs and text.
How to get the images under the gallery tab and the text under the info tab?
Any ideas?

Previous discussions (or the description in the theme showcase) don't explain it either. To "get the images under the gallery tab and the text under the info tab", you upload the images via the Add Media tool of the post without inserting them into the post.
@justpi- Mixfolio is such a misunderstood/mixed up theme. Still hoping that you'll consider doing a guide to it since the existing sources are about as helpful as the forum discussions.
I think I'm done with this sort of thing (for reasons you're well aware of)...

Hi, I am having the same issue and I don’t know how to create the gallery without adding the images/gallery to the post.
I have tried two methods:
1) Posts > Add New > Add Media > Create Gallery > then close out of gallery window. Nothing shows up on either tab.
2) Posts > Add New > Add Media > Create Gallery > Insert Gallery
The images show up under the info tab.
I must be overlooking something. Help!
The whole point of gallery format posts in Mixfolio is that they automatically turn the images you upload into a gallery. You click the Add Media tab and you don't click Create Gallery, you click Upload Files; then you upload the images (by dragging & dropping all of them from your desktop or by clicking Select Files), and once they've been uploaded you close the media screen (by clicking the top right X tab).
